About Rebecca ...
Rebecca has trimmed professionally for more than 20 years .
A former television journalist and filmmaker in a previous life, Rebecca was amongst the first cohort of students in the Diploma of Equine Podiotherapy. She went on to run and co-host a number of professional development events, including The Functional Hoof conferences. In Victoria, she ran a team of trimmers under the GoBarefoot banner. She has also run trim clinics for horse owners to learn to trim their own horses. Her trimming is informed by the work of Pete Ramey, Jamie Jackson and perhaps most significantly, David Landreville. She trims using power tools or hand tools - depending on the horse. Moving to Tasmania in 2019, she now lives and works in the Huon Valley and surrounds.
